According to the National Association of Realtors 2017 Profile of Home staging, www.nar.realtor/reports/profile-of-home-staging. nearly two thirds of seller’s agents said that staging a home decreases the amount of time the home spends on the market. Seventy seven percent of buyer’s agents said that staging a home makes it easier for buyers to visualize the property as their future home, and 40 percent of buyers are more willing to walk through a staged home they first saw on-line.
In 2008 I became a licensed stager and I created a staging and design business, Living Space Design. Since that time I have worked with hundreds of sellers to help make their homes more appealing to buyers. I believe in incorporating the owner’s best pieces, be it art, furniture, or textiles, and embellishing the house where needed to create a clean, simple, attractive home that will appeal to a large buyer pool.
